Mauro Meloni - Living for the other shore (acoustic)

Filmed and recorded one winter afternoon in 2025 in Gràcia, Barcelona. LIVING FOR THE OTHER SHORE Every day passes Every day moves With a gait that looks so familiar Feels as gentle as a summer moon In the night laughing When the lights in my house are on And movies and cigarettes Spiral outside our winter windows Uh, is that a flower? Are these the softer times We’ve been waiting for? Uh, why is the cold so tender now? Are these the lighter times We’ve been hoping for? Or is the weather now The same as it was before Looking at pictures Of a golden time that’s gone Writing a new one That can contain Those pages of joy Uh, is that a flower? Are these the softer times We’ve been waiting for? Uh, why is the cold so tender now? Are these the lighter times We’ve been hoping for? It doesn’t seem we're waiting for life to come along It doesn’t seem we are wavering It doesn’t seem we’re suspended It doesn’t seem we are standing still It doesn’t seem like we’re living for the other shore Yet another painting in the afternoon It doesn’t seem we’re yearning for another shore.
