Last Minute Light - Landscape Photography on a Warm Winter Evening
After a foiled attempt at shooting a beautiful, mature ponderosa pine grove, I redeem myself by catching some great golden hour light on the last day of the season this wildlife refuge is open for the winter. I wouldn't be able to return until July, and by then, my hero shot would not be the same. In addition to successfully capturing the image I set out for, I get numerous other shots that celebrate the woodlands of Northwest Montana. My polarizer is both my friend and foe depending on what I shoot and I use the full suite of focal lengths that my gear will allow. I even get to capture a pair of eagles watching over me. Willow had a great time on this outing as well and is apparent by her behavior throughout the video. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did experiencing it.
