How to Capture Razor Sharp Wildflower Landscapes | Chasing Desert Blooms

After weeks of watching the forecasts and hoping for the right conditions, the desert finally came alive. In this video, I head out to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park to photograph one of the most beautiful wildflower blooms I’ve seen in years. Wide-angle lenses were the key to capturing the scale of these scenes. With carpets of flowers stretching across the badlands, I focused on creating compositions that feel immersive while keeping everything tack sharp from foreground to background. In this episode, I share how I approach wide-angle wildflower photography, the settings I use to keep images sharp, and how to work with desert light and challenging compositions in chaotic scenes like this.
