TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM, MAKASSAR - The perpetrator of the kidnapping and rape of an 11-year-old child with the initials P in Makassar City, South Sulawesi, has been arrested. The perpetrator is Khalil Gibran (37), an employee at a restaurant in Makassar City. He was arrested by the Makassar Police's Criminal Investigation Unit after committing his despicable act on Sunday night. When presented at Makassar Police Headquarters, the perpetrator was in a wheelchair with a bandage on his left calf. Makassar Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Arya Perdana, who released the case disclosure, said the perpetrator resisted officers and had to be subdued with hot lead. "When arrested, the perpetrator resisted and we shot him in the leg," explained Senior Commissioner Arya Perdana.
