Today we visit the talyllyn railway for their awdry extravaganza 5 event to visit the amazing model exhibitions from both the awdry archive as well as MATTEL archives for the show.. On display was the original Farquhar branch layout built by the reverend W awdry himself and well as original props from Mattel dating all the way form season 1 to the only duck prop from season 2 in existence.. Overall it was a fantastic event and a privilege to see the original props from the stories that inspired.me to do what I do today!
