Polanica-Zdrój transformed itself, hosting a colorful celebration of world traditional culture. On Thursday, July 2nd, a unique installment of the 29th International Folklore Festival "Świat pod Kyczerą" took place here. Residents and spa guests had a unique opportunity to admire artists from several continents. The event began with an exceptionally spectacular parade and street entertainment. The colorful procession of artists departed from the Spa Theatre and proceeded along the promenade towards the Small Market Square, from where it returned to the promenade, finally reaching the Concert Bowl in Spa Park. The street performances attracted crowds of spectators, who delighted in photographing the participants' traditional, ornate costumes and joined in the fun. The highlight of the program was the ceremonial Gala Concert at the Concert Bowl. The Polanica stage showcased a true mosaic of cultures. The audience admired the energetic and passionate performances of bands from Chile, Ecuador, Gambia, India, Mexico, Senegal, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and, of course, Polish artists.
