We are about to end the year, and it is customary to review what was accomplished in the current year and set new goals for the coming year. Believers must be diligent in what we do, despite the laziness of human nature. And every year's end, we realize what goals we accomplished from what we set at the beginning of the year. God established stages in our lives, and God planned this time of year-end to begin again with renewed strength and new goals for the coming year. Laziness and negligence are the obstacles we must overcome to achieve the goals God guides us to set, and in this sermon we will learn about negligence and how to overcome it. This sermon was preached from the pulpit of Open Door Baptist Church during a Sunday morning service. Since these sermons are the main gatherings of the congregation, the sermon seeks to edify the local church. teaching, rebuking (convicting of sin), correcting, and instructing its members and congregants in the way of the Lord.
