Hey, there, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the replacement T-track bracket for your Thule Hullavator kayak carrier. This is gonna be one of the components that is needed to install your kayak carrier to a roof rack or crossbar that has a channel inside. Now this is just a part of the whole system, and I'm gonna explain all the other parts you may need to properly install your Hullavator kayak carrier. What I've seen sometimes happen is that people need an entire new mounting assembly for their Thule Hullavator. That could be because maybe they damaged, broke their mounting assembly, maybe they got the Hullavator completely unassembled from someone else and they just forgot to get the assembly with it. That's gonna be this bracket over here, which attaches to your crossbars. If that is the case for you, the very first thing you need to figure out is are you attaching your Hullavator to crossbars that have that channel, or do you need the underbar adapter instead The underbar has a little curve in it, and this is designed for the Thule SquareBars. More often than not though, people tend to use the T-track method simply because it's a lot more versatile and fits your more modern crossbar. For a quick little run through of how everything assembles together, you're gonna have your mounting assembly. This is gonna be your bar assembly. Although, make sure you get the one that matches either the Hullavator Pro, or the Hullavator, this bracket here, will look different depending on what you have. You then get your T-track adapter. This fits into your bar assembly, just like that. You then secure that T-track adapter with this nut on top, and then a bolt with a washer that goes underneath. So that nut secures that whole system, like that. And then, you use your two different Allen keys, included with your kit, to tighten down. This is gonna be a smaller Allen key, it says four millimeter, as well as your Thule five-millimeter Allen key to secure. Now once that's tightened down to the proper spec, which is much tighter than this, you then cover the whole thing with this cover. So all of these individual pieces are available here on our website. If you need help getting it all together, just give us a call or ask our experts a question here on this site, and we'll get that list together for you depending on how you want to mount your Thule Hullavator. To see how that all works together onto the crossbar, you're also going to need a square nut, and this goes into the channels of your crossbar. And then, you have a M6 bolt, and this will secure that bracket to the square nut on the crossbar. You're gonna have to do that on both sides of your bar assembly in order to fully secure this one piece down. So if you do have a Thule Hullavator Pro kayak here, you are gonna need a total of four sets to fully secure everything. And that was just a quick little way of showing how to replace your T-track adapter for your Hullavator system, as well as how it fits in with all the other components for your Hullavator. Now you can also just get the entire system here at etrailer if you want the entire kayak here. But if you do need any of those smaller pieces, whether it's the cradles, these pads, the pivot pin to install your bar assembly, that's all here on our website. But, today, this was a look at the T-track adapter plate for your Thule Hullavator system. My name is Evangeline here at etrailer.com.
