Can These Park Fishing Trails Still Produce Fish?

In this video, I'm bank fishing a park that I've been visiting my entire life. As a kid, my parents would bring me here, and while they enjoyed the park and swimming area, I was usually more interested in carrying a fishing rod and exploring the shoreline. I start out on an old fishing trail with wooden steps leading down to the lake. Despite thick weeds and limited room to fish, I spot a nice bass cruising the bank. After finding a discarded bobber, I put it to use with a Gulp Minnow and Trout Magnet jig head before moving on to another fishing trail where invasive weeds have nearly taken over the cove. After working my way through the woods and exploring several shoreline spots, I finally connect with a bluegill. The fishing was slow, but the weather was great, the shade felt good, and it was a relaxing way to kick off the summer season. I also talk about making a trip back to one of my favorite remote fishing spots on the French Broad River for some fishing, filming, and a chance to unwind. Thanks for watching!
