The Answer to the Problem of Sin - Gospel Preaching in Surfers Paradise, 25 Dec 2025 (SUBTITLES)

What are you doing about eternity, friends? What are you doing about your eternal security with God? Listen, it doesn't come back to whether your good deeds outweigh your bad deeds. What it comes back to is what have you done with the message of His Son? We know that God accepted Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. How do we know that? Because three days after they put Him in that tomb, God raised Him from the dead. Jesus Christ is not dead today. There is only one who has an empty grave. His name is Jesus Christ. You can talk about any other religious leader you like. I'm telling you tonight, there is only One who has an empty grave. There was only One that God raised from the dead. There was only One that God testified and said, "Yes, I receive what this man did, what My Son did on the Cross in humanity. I receive it." But the question is, friends, do you receive it? Do you receive what Jesus did on that Cross? God's done what was required for our salvation. He created us. He loves us. And then we went astray, and then He sent his Son and He redeemed us. He gave his Son, and he redeemed us. He's done it all. Jesus on the Cross said, "It is finished." God did what he needed to do. Why? Because He loves you and I. It doesn't matter what your background is. There's so many cultures here tonight in Surfers Paradise from so many places and so many regions. We're all one in this, that we've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We've all got the same sin problem. We're born with it. If you're born here in this world, you're born with a sin problem. There is One who didn't ever have a sin problem. His name is Jesus Christ. His Father is God, and his mother, the virgin Mary, was with child by the Holy Spirit. And here is a Man born without sin, born fully God and fully Man, the only One who can stand in the place that none of us can stand. The only one who could go to the Cross in our place. Did He want to do it? Of course not. He knew the pain. He knew the anguish. He knew the shame of that Cross. He knew it, because there in the Garden of Gethsemane, He's sweating, as it were, great drops of blood. He's saying, 'Father, if there be any other way, please take this cup from me. I don't want to go through this.' Christ knew the anguish of the Cross that he was about to go through, being nailed to that cross. What a horrific, shameful death, the death of a criminal. He didn't want to go through it, but He says this: 'Yet not my will, but Yours be done." There is only One in history, friends, who ever was able to do that, who had no sin and was able to say, even in the press of Gethsemane, "Yet not my will, but yours be done." Why? Because He loved his Father, and because He loves you and I. Jesus loves you and I. Great love. It was love that held Him to that Cross. Yes, the Romans nailed Him there, but it was His love that kept Him there. He took upon Himself the sins of the world. Everyone's sins were paid for on that day, on that Cross of Calvary, some 2,000 years ago. Everyone's. But you must have His sacrifice applied to your own life by believing, by receiving. Pray, "Yes, Jesus, come into my heart. I open the door of my heart to you tonight. Come into my heart. Wash me clean of my sin," and then what Christ accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection is applied to you as well. Just like what happened to me in 1995. Friends, if you want to come tonight and talk to one of us here, let's pray together... GOSPEL APPEAL - SURFERS PARADISE - 25 DECEMBER, 2025
