THE PATH OF THE WAR HOST

After the death of Attila, the Hun empire did not fall to its enemies — it fell to itself. Csaba, the youngest son of Attila, was the sole survivor of the bloody war of succession among his brothers. With fifteen thousand remaining Huns he rode east — back to Scythia, the ancient homeland. But he did not take everyone with him. Three thousand warriors he left behind in Erdély (Transylvania), to guard the legacy of Attila and hold the land. To them he gave their name: "As long as fire does not grow cold, as long as the river still flows — good people, stay and hold this ground. Be the Székelys." Csaba swore an oath that he would return if his people were ever in danger. The message could come by fire, water, wind or earth — he would hear it, and he would come. Decades passed. Then centuries. The Székelys waited. They were even mocked for it — when something was said to be impossible, people would say: "When Csaba returns from Greece." The oath seemed to belong to legend, not to life. Then one night, when an enemy force had nearly swept them away, something appeared in the sky. On the Milky Way — which the Székelys have called the Road of the Host ever since — a mounted army was seen riding. At its head rode Csaba, leading the souls of the fallen into one final battle. The enemy was destroyed. Then the army rose silently back into the sky and disappeared among the stars. The Milky Way still shines above Transylvania. The Székelys know what it is. This song is Csaba's oath — and the moment of return. 🎼 Symphonic Cold — Legendák album Dark Electro | EBM | Orchestral | Saxophone | Choir 📖 Learn more: Csaba (son of Attila) — https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Csaba_(...)
