Stamping Basics: Masking, Multi-Colored Stamping and Glitter!

We are going back to the basics with a series of videos that are great for beginning stampers, stampers that want to keep it simple, or stampers that would like to take their stamping with them. The bare bones supplies you need are ink, stamps and cardstock. I recommend versatile stamp sets like Spot On, For Everything and Amazing Floral. With these three stamp sets, you've got many holidays covered, you have border stamps, image stamps, flowers, great sentiments and a slew of images to build backgrounds as well as focal points. BLOG POST: https://catherinepooler.com/2018/08/2... Masking Technique: stamp your image, then cut around it close to the stamped image or even right inside the stamped line to create your mask. Sdd 2 Way Glue to the back of the cut out image, let it dry and it becomes a repositionable adhesive perfect for the Masking Technique! Multi-colored stamped images: ink part of your stamp with one color, ink another part of your stamp with another color and use an ink blending tool to soften where the colors meet for a gradient look. Glitter Accents: I remember the first time I saw glitter on a hand made card like this. I just stared and stared and thought, “WOW! How do you DO that?” I was super impressed! I was even more impressed when I learned how easy this is to do. Apply 2 Way Glue wherever you would like a little glitz and glam, pour Glass Slipper Glitter (a clear, sparkly glitter) over it and tap off.
