Umami rich, nutrient dense and refreshing pork soup. I think this very simple style of cooking is underrated in the west. Basically just boil the non-processed meat and finished. Another very common recipe in China is to just boil a chicken and it turns out very delicious, I'll probably make a video of that in the future. My rating 8/10. Soup Recipe: Pork rib Kelp Ginger Green onion Sichuan pepper White pepper Oil Salt MSG/Mushroom powder Put the ribs and the kelp in water for a couple of hours. Boil the kelp for a couple of min and then pour away the water. Dry, salt and fry the ribs in oil with ginger and sichuan pepper. Add the kelp. Add boiling water. Cook the soup for 20 min. Add green onion. Boil 5-10 more min. Add white pepper, MSG and salt after taste.
