The Beta Marine Teardown: Better or Worse than I Thought? - Ep. 24

Now that we know this Beta Marine engine actually has signs of life, it’s time to get our hands dirty and see if it’s actually worth saving. In this video, I’m stripping away years of grime and diving into the mechanical "unknowns" that come with a project like this. In this episode: The Deep Clean: Using some heavy-duty degreaser to find out what’s engine and what’s years of gunk. The Full Inspection: Checking the vitals and looking for any hidden "gotchas" that might kill the project. Electrical Gremlins: Sorting through some questionable wiring repairs to make sure we don't have a fire on our hands. The Final Boss: Starting the battle with a notoriously stubborn exhaust elbow. (Spoiler: It’s not going down without a fight). This is the first "real" day of work on the Beta Marine restoration, and while it started last week, we’ve got a long way to go before this thing is reliable enough for the water. ⛵⭐ HOW TO SUPPORT US ⭐ ⛵ ☕Buy me a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/fixitorsinkit 💷 Donate: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted... ⛵ Amazon Wishlist: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/... ⛵ Follow me on Facebook:   / fixitorsinkit   ⛵ Follow me on Instagram:   / fixitorsinkit   #scrap yacht #scrapyacht #yacht restoration #yachtrestoration #restoring a yacht #restoringayacht #boat refurbishment #boatrefurbishment #boat renovation #boatrenovation #boatrestoration #boat restoration #hurley #fixitorsinkit
