Today was a peaceful, rainy day in the countryside. I cleaned the crops of bugs and picked green peppers to make gochubugak (Korean chili pepper flakes). I spent the day drying steamed peppers in a dehydrator, along with taro stems and chestnuts. In the evening, I finished the day with a glass of makgeolli (Korean rice wine) after making kimchi pancakes. Let's enjoy a quiet day in the countryside with the sound of falling rain.
