Palum Vellari [പാലും വെള്ളരി]

Palum Vellari, a special Puja and rituals that had traditionally been followed and performed in once prominent Nair Tharavadus [Nair families] for centuries, had been conducted on 18th April 2021 at our Tharavadu "Vayankara Edachola". The Oracle [Komaram] [കോമരം] comes specially from Thirumandhamkunnu Bhagavthi Kshetram, Angadippuram, to perform this pooja after the festival at the temple is concluded. This special Pooja and associated rituals to please the Deity "Bhagavathi" last nearly 3-4 hours.
