Saved to be Loved and Sent - Exodus 19 and Matthew 10 sermon
In this sermon from the 3rd Sunday after Pentecost, 2026, Rev. Ben preaches on knowing who we are as the church. Drawing from Exodus 19:1-8 and Matthew 9:35-10:15 in the lectionary, he shows how we, the people of God, are saved in order to be loved, and we are saved in order to be sent. The church is meant to be an embassy, an outpost of the Kingdom of God here on earth, and we are Christ's ambassadors. St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Versailles, KY exists to glorify Jesus Christ as a community of disciples on mission. Find out more and connect with us at standrewsky.org or on Facebook.
