Trying Out the Soviet Jupiter 12 35mm f/2.8 LTM in Berlin Germany
...in which I take a soviet post-war copy of a pre-war Zeiss Biogon to Berlin, Germany, squeezing rotund rear element of this L39 lens through the narrow flange of my Canon P. Battling COVID and my own lack of talent, I see what I can make of a roll of Kodak Gold 200 and whether the lens can ascend beyond its somewhat sketchy reputation as a humble clone of a better optic. It's sharp enough and distorts only a little but it's ergonomics aren't the best. Can I do it justice on the banks of the River See? https://markmcmahon.me / patternsinsand
