MODULE 5: Performance Management

𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝟓: 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 This module introduces the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) implemented at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, which links individual employee performance with organizational goals to ensure accountability, efficiency, and effective public service delivery. It provides a comprehensive overview of the performance management system, including its background and objectives, the performance management cycle, and key performance measures. The module also covers the submission of performance targets and evaluation results, the use of performance ratings, and guidelines on the non-submission of performance targets and evaluations. In addition, learners will be oriented on the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) form and relevant provisions under Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 03, s. 2005.
