Murkomen: Police to secure peaceful Gen-Z anniversary protests
The government now says it has received formal notice of tomorrow’s Gen-Z protest anniversary and that police will provide security and guide protesters, but only for peaceful and unarmed protesters. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen is, however, warning protesters against disrupting normal activities and accusing some politicians of mobilising criminal elements to infiltrate the protests, saying the process of arresting those behind the plans is underway.
