Special thanks to my good friend Hunter for making such an experience possible! It's always good to fly with someone more experienced, there's no shortage of things to learn. The mountains are daunting, especially in a small sub 200hp aircraft, which is why I haven't flown near them until this point. However, with proper planning and anticipation of what to expect, the risk can be significantly reduced. There is a lot of great information in this video, though, keep in mind neither of us are certified instructors, so take it with a grain of salt.
