241) Nightmare Neighbours on Ramona Lake!
On Saturday, September 14th, 2024, I hiked 8.4 kilometres on the Western Uplands Trail in Algonquin Park to Ramona Lake, spot number two. My hope was to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing weekend on the second last weekend of the summer. Well, it’s nice to want things! This was my first experience in the backcountry with inconsiderate jerks who partied loudly all night and paid no mind to the other campers on the lake. I really, really hope they were fined for their loser behaviour! Also, I hope they learn, and continue to explore a connection with Nature. We were all young and dumb once and we have all made mistakes. ✌🏼
