I didn't want to go to Vlad's because of the lava. I botched the star challenge miserably. I watched the single glimmer of hope this run had, that beautiful wayward teleporter, get crushed inches away from me instead of just picking it up. It's time to accept defeat. I am a failure. It's all over for me. How can I dare to call myself a spelunker? The only thing I bring to the title is embarrassment and shame. I am not worthy of it. Perhaps I never will be.
