🚧 FINALLY! Construction of the Jogja–Solo Toll Road, Section 2, Package 2.1, from Purwomartani to Maguwoharjo, is now showing increasingly visible progress. The shape of the elevated toll road is starting to become clearly visible above the Mataram Canal, while girder installation, pier head construction, and rows of giant pillars continue to grow. In this video, we'll take a firsthand look at the latest developments on the approximately 3.7-kilometer section connecting the Purwomartani Interchange with the Maguwoharjo North Ring Road. According to the latest developments, construction progress has reached approximately 35%, and work continues to accelerate in all areas where land has been acquired. The project is targeted for completion in December 2026 if land acquisition proceeds as planned. Interestingly, almost the entire section is being built using an elevated toll road concept, over the Mataram Canal and the North Ring Road. This design was chosen to preserve the Mataram Canal as a historic infrastructure while minimizing the need for land acquisition.
