Harrisburg PA Structure Collapse Drill

On October 30, 2025 members of the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire Rescue 1 along with the South Central Task Force conducted a day long collapse rescue response drill in Uptown Harrisburg, PA. The drill simulated the catastrophic collapse of multiple row homes with partial collapses of several others. Simulated live and deceased victims created opportunities for rescue personnel and K9's to locate and rescue the victims in extremely realistic conditions. This video highlights many of the activities conducted that day. The weather was terrible with rain and wind all day, but it only added to the challenging environment and response.
