Ćevapčići (Balkans) on Sandwiches of History⁣

Today’s International Sandwich Sunday sandwich, the Ćevapčići sandwich seems to span several countries/cuisines. Which is why I am going with Balkan (definitely correct me if that is wrong). We’ve got to mix seasonings into ground beef, grill the resulting patties, and enjoy with Ajvar, a red pepper paste and Kajmak, a cream cheese like spread, in between a soft pillow pita-like bread. Yeah, this is not gonna suck. Btw, I’ll know if you’ve read this because I am going to point out that the background when I first taste the sandwich is different from the background in any of the other kitchen shots. That’s because when I originally shot this, I fat fingered the auto focus off. And the glasses you see me wear on screen are reading glasses. Which means even though I had a screen facing me, I couldn’t see that it was out of focus. Luckily I had a half leftover and was able to pickup the shot albeit totally blowing continuity. Good times.
