Perinatal Equity Conference 2026 - Maternal Health Equity Panel

The Perinatal Equity Conference 2026, presented by the County of Santa Clara, featured a maternal health equity panel with experts of varied professional experiences. The panel comprised of Dr. Cassondra Marshall, an associate professor from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health, Ms. Christina Oldini, a nurse and Associate Director at the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative, Dr. Noha Aboelata MD, a family physician and founding CEO of Root Community Health, and Ms. Niambi Lewis, the Chief for the Perinatal Equity Section in the Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Division at the California Department of Public Health. The panel addressed a variety of topics relevant to the maternal health space, including how they strive to center community voices to inform policy, holding peers accountable, and forming non - traditional engagement and partnerships.
