Yes, long-range strikes on Russian oil refineries are painful for the Kremlin, and, according to Razumkov, this is "no big deal," no matter what Putin says. But the Russians' rhetoric hasn't changed, meaning they won't stop at the front lines tomorrow. While Ukrainian society applauds every landing in Russia, no one, the guest believes, is considering the next step – what will happen next. The central idea of ​​the segment is the difference between two things that are constantly confused in our country: a ceasefire and the end of a war. Razumkov considers the ceasefire a trap: it's merely a window of opportunity, after which the war will likely flare up again, giving the Russians time to regroup and recharge. Moreover, the ceasefire is a ban on investment, real elections, and a return to pre-war freedom of speech and economic conditions. A true end to the war is different: only it guarantees security and opens the way for capital, because large funds will not enter a country where shooting could start again tomorrow. The guest calls his expectations pessimistic, and immediately clarifies this with the formula: a pessimist is a well-informed optimist. Much, he says, will depend on the global economy, Europe, and, above all, the Middle East: a resumption of hostilities between Iran and the US could undermine the financial aid Ukraine expects from the EU. Next comes the cold shoulder. Of the 50 billion euros Ukraine was supposed to receive this year, only a "donut hole," as Razumkov puts it, was received in the first five months. And this isn't money from a safe—it's being allocated from a vibrant European economy, and if the latter itself takes a turn for the worse, the promised resource may not actually be available. Regarding the new 70 billion euros from NATO, the guest has a whole list of questions: are these Ukrainian weapons or foreign ones, how much do they cost, does intelligence services participate, and who ultimately benefits. He interprets the signal itself as twofold: either a warning to Russia or a hint that the war will drag on. The conversation concludes with a discussion of power. Romanenko asks about a transitional government, and Razumkov explains why this is unrealistic: a new coalition is needed, with ministers appointed based on effectiveness, not on the principle of "friend or foe," but professionals won't go to a place where they're being called and told what to do. He calls the PEP affair a way to perpetuate the corrupt system. But the main conclusion is stark: the system relies on manual control, and Zelensky won't be able to change it—he "simply doesn't know how."
