Back to Running After Knee Injury | Megan Jacoby Season II Ep. IV

After months with my knee injury, I'm finally running again. And this is why I'm sharing my progress, learnings, tips & mindset with you in this video. We'll dive into pre-workout fuel, the warm-up & mobility routine, my return-to-running process, refueling & a Hyrox specific gym session. But more than that, this injury has taught me some things I want to share. For most people, sport is chasing the next win, the next title, the next race. But I've really learned that celebrating the small and the big wins (and truly enjoying the moment) is so important. Same as the value in loving what you do. Purely. So I am even more happy to say that I feel confident enough to race mixed doubles at the HYROX World Championships in Sweden this year with my life partner Benni. It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get to this point. More patience than I've ever had to have. And more self-belief than I thought I could muster. There were many days I just kept silently working, uncertain it would ever pay off, but simply getting the work done because that's who I am and what I love to do. And what I can tell you: I want it bad. More than ever before. To all of those who have championed me, believed in me, cheered for me and relate to my story — thank you. This was also for you 🩵 to show you, YOU CAN TOO. Much love to you all from the bottom of my heart, Meg
