Barb: "A sharp projection near the end of an arrow, fish hook, or similar object, which is angled away from the main point so as to make extraction difficult." This is one of the first songs they made for the second album. On another interview Hyunwoo mentioned that he likens the role of the barb in this song to that of the red pill from The Matrix movie, which transports anyone who eats it to the real world. Ha Hyunwoo wanted to express images through their songs and I think they did a hell of a job with this one. You can almost picture the story scene by scene in front of you with the bass and guitar in the intro, the sudden change of pace in the middle, and Hyunwoo's soft tone in the beginning, then low, marching tone in the middle, and his explosive finale at the end.
