Grindin’ Corn & Mama’s Chicken Stew || February 2026

Today Andy is grinding some of our Boone County white corn that we grew ourselves to make homemade chicken scratch. While he’s working outside, I’m in the kitchen making my mama’s famous chicken stew along with a loaf of sourdough bread. Just good food, old ways, and making use of what we’ve worked hard to grow.
