Walking the South West Coast Path: Pendeen Watch to Land’s End with Roxie!
We continue our trek through the heart of the Tin Coast, leaving the historic mining district of Pendeen behind for a masterclass in dramatic Cornish coastal walking. This roughly 12-mile westbound hike is a major milestone, taking us to the extreme westerly tip of mainland England: Land's End. +3 There are many excellent, polished videos of the SWCP, but I wanted to show you something a bit different. This is the full, unvarnished experience, featuring the exposed cliff-edge single tracks and rugged granite scrambles that often get left out. Because I’m filming as we go, the footage is raw and naturally shaky—I've kept it that way to capture the physical reality of the trek. Expect less commentary and a more "wild, bumpy ride"—an authentic record of the walk! NOTE: The first section of video was a bit of a rescue mission due to technical issues. I’ve kept it in to ensure the record of our walk from Pendeen to Land's End stays complete. It’s a little raw, but so is the Cornish coast! Thanks for bearing with the lower quality at the start! . 🌍 Follow our full story & see the maps: https://roxieand.me.uk/ +2 About This Journey: This stage is a deep dive into Cornwall’s industrial soul. We navigate a post-industrial wasteland of tin-mining ruins, passing the iconic engine houses at Levant, Geevor, and Botallack. The trail then tests our legs with a "lung-buster" ascent above Gribba Point and a scramble over the blocky tors of Nanjulian Cliff. +4 After finding some relief on the golden sands of Whitesand Bay and passing through the surfing hub of Sennen Cove, we reach the skeletal remains of the RMS Mulheim wreck. The journey concludes at the legendary Land's End signpost, marking 275 miles of our journey completed! . 🐾 About Roxie and Me: We’re documenting our journey along the 630-mile South West Coast Path, one stage at a time.
