Shkmeruli (შქმერული), chicken in garlic cream sauce

Simple and delicious Georgian chicken shkmeruli with garlic and cream sauce. Here's the recipe: Ingredients: 1 chicken (2-3 pounds) 1 head garlic, peeled and finely chopped 1 cup milk or water 1-2 tbsp. oil or butter if needed salt, pepper, thyme Directions: Heat the skillet well, about a minute or two, season the chicken with salt and place it in the pan with skin side down, cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat, flip it over and cook for another 10 minutes on the other side. Chop garlic really fine. Move the chicken from the pan to the plate, let it cool down and cut into pieces. Add the garlic in the same pan, if it needs fat, add oil or butter and cook on medium low heat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring. Don't burn the garlic.
