Restoring the Poor Man’s Submariner | Seiko SKX031

Restoring a Seiko SKX031, often referred to as the “Poor Man’s Submariner”. This particular watch came from an auction in the Netherlands and, despite looking reasonably clean at first glance, the movement was full of dried oils and sticky residue. In this video I completely disassemble, clean, lubricate and reassemble the 7S26 movement, while also addressing several issues found throughout the watch.
