This song is mostly associated with the main protagonist, Rex, his Aegis Blades, Pyra and Mythra, and the main antagonists, Malos and Jin. Counterattack is a track from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, composed by Kenji Hiramatsu. It is track one of disc three from the Xenoblade 2 Original Soundtrack, and track one of disc eight from the Xenoblade Original Soundtrack Trinity Box. This song plays during important and emotional story moments. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a 2017 action role-playing game developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is the third installment in the Xenoblade Chronicles series and the sixth main entry in the Xeno series, and was released on December 1.
