Among the strongest superheroes in Marvel, there are plenty of fierce rivalries. Rivalries like Thor vs the Hulk, Namor vs the Thing, Thor vs Hercules, and Namor vs Hulk. Yet one particular rivalry seemed perfect, yet never managed to get off the ground. Two strong characters that have interesting similarities and differences. Two long lived princes from faraway worlds. Two prideful warriors who value their people and enjoy a good fight. A god the skies and a king of the seas. A protector of the earth and one who often tries to conquer it. Thor and Namor seemed to set up for an amazing rivalry, but it never reached the heights of others.
