TNRM goes to the Kiwirrkurra Ninu (Bilby) Festival
TNRM Arid Lands Regional Coordinator Jen Kreusser shares the highlights of the first ever ninu (bilby) festival she attended in Kiwirrkurra, WA from June 20-23, 2016. About 150 people met in the remote Gibson Desert to hear from Indigenous rangers how they have been using their local knowledge to save bilbies, which are a threatened species.
