My BEST Investment Is Falling Apart!

Owning rental properties isn’t always passive income and easy cash flow. In this video, I walk through my 32-unit apartment complex, which has been one of the best real estate investments of my life… while also showing the frustrating reality of owning rentals long term. We tour two vacant apartment units, one that needs work and another that has been completely trashed by tenants. We also walk the property and look at deferred maintenance, overgrown weeds, property damage, trash left behind, and the constant upkeep that comes with owning apartments and managing real estate. Even though this apartment complex continues to perform extremely well financially and has created incredible cash flow, appreciation, and long-term wealth, videos like this are a reminder that real estate investing is never completely passive. Every year there are repairs, tenant issues, maintenance costs, turnovers, and unexpected problems that landlords have to deal with.
