Barrel Racing Saddle Build
questions? email me at: [email protected] A brief video showing the construction of a saddle to be primarily used for training and barrel racing. Built on a fiberglass covered Dusty Smith tree with Hermann Oak skirting leather and Jeremiah Watt stainless steel hardware. The video is not to be considered a tutorial. Too many steps in the construction have been glossed over or even entirely omitted (I'm really a lousy filmmaker) and any attempts to follow along with the build might potentially result in a defective or less than sound saddle which in turn could prove to be injurious to either the horse or rider. There are plenty of professional saddle makers on YouTube and other platforms that offer in depth and informative tutorials.
