USA Pacific Coast Bicycle Tour

In May 2019, we cycled from Seattle to San Francisco along the gorgeous Pacific Coast of the USA. Some roads were quiet but most of them too busy for our taste. Luckily, the scenery compensated for the traffic, and we generally felt safe (both on and off the road). We were very pleased with the state parks: green with lots of trees, at beautiful locations, offering basic facilities, and always an affordable spot for hikers and bikers. We met some very kind and generous people, offering a place to stay, or some other type of help. Meeting and spending time with fellow travelers was fun too, like a group of Canadian gentlemen at retirement age, but still going strong!
