This Sunday's recipe is an #apple pie. We do not hesitate to say that it is one of the #vegan recipes that we liked the most because it is simple and delicious. If you want to know how we made it, we leave you here written the recipe: INGREDIENTS: FILLING: 5 apples (approx. 900 g) 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 2 tbsp coconut oil 1 tbsp fine corn flour 100 g of panela DOUGH: 360 g of wheat flour 1 tsp salt 100 ml EVOO 100 ml of water 2 tbsp panela · We start by making the filling. In a bowl we put the peeled and sliced ​​apples. We add the rest of the ingredients except the coconut oil and the fine corn flour. · We mix with our hands so that it releases its juice. · We set aside to release all its juice. · On the other hand, for THE DOUGH, we sift the flour and salt. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix with your hands until we have a homogeneous dough. Use a flat surface with parchment paper to knead a little. It took us about 10 minutes to achieve the desired consistency. · Separate the dough into two equal parts. · Stretch one of them with a roller. If you see that it sticks, use a little flour. You have to stretch it so that it is larger than the diameter of your container. We use a 20 cm circular. · Turn the container upside down and turn it over so that the dough is on the base. Gently mold it with your hands, pressing toward the bottom and the walls. · Heat 2 tbsp of coconut oil in the pan and add the apple filling. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. · Add the dusted fine cornmeal and cook for 5 more minutes. · Put it on top of the dough in the bowl and distribute it well. · Roll out the other half of the dough and place it on top, covering the filling. · Squeeze with your hands so that it sticks. Cut off excess edges and seal. · Bake at 180ºC for about 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. We hope you liked it!
