There's an overpass just before Meitetsu's Nishi-Biwajima Station. It's commonly known as the "Biwajima Overpass." This bridge, spanning the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line, used to carry National Route 22, and is now Prefectural Route 67. In fact, this historic overpass is about to be demolished as part of a reconstruction project.
