Masterclass de Paul Meyer - Clarinete - Weber: Gran dúo concertante en mi bemol mayor op. 48

In this clarinet class, Professor Paul Meyer works the Grand duo concertant op. 48 by Carl Maria von Weber with student Tommaso Lonquich. This masterclass took place at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid in January 2009. M. von Weber: Grand duo concertant for clarinet and piano in E flat major J 204 op. 48 - III. Rondo. Allegro Abstract: Professor Meyer gives some interpretation guidelines for Weber's Grand duo. He recommends that the longer the note, the more it's neccesary to work on its sound, to mold it. They work a passage to match the piano and give equal articulation and speed. They correct a trill on the score, both for the clarinet and the piano part.
