In this video I visit one of Manchester’s best-known Pakistani restaurants on the famous Curry Mile - Al Madina on Wilmslow road in Manchester to discover what authentic Pakistani cuisine is really like. I try several traditional dishes—including Magaz (Lamb’s Brain Curry), which I was convinced I wouldn’t enjoy… but it completely surprised me! We had a selection of some great food and I get to chat with Sheikh about what makes Pakistani Food different from Indian & Bangladeshi. In this interview with the chef, he shares cooking tips, talks about authentic Pakistani curry techniques, and reveals what makes traditional Pakistani food different from many British takeaway curries.
