Given the limitations in securing jobs and tax revenue in the past, the city intends to lay the foundation for a self-sufficient city through the development of the Segyo 3 District. Mayor Lee Kwon-jae stated that discussions are underway to expand the industrial land in the Segyo 3 District from 100,000 pyeong to 300,000 pyeong.
