Con salida y llegada en Lleida, afrontamos una etapa marcada por el calor, los campos infinitos y una de las sorpresas más agradables del reto: descubrir la ciudad al amanecer, completamente vacía y envuelta en una calma difícil de imaginar durante el resto del día. Tras recorrer lugares emblemáticos como la Seu Vella, la ruta se adentra en el verdadero corazón de la comarca: kilómetros y kilómetros de cultivos que convierten el paisaje en una auténtica despensa al aire libre. Entre frutales, pequeños pueblos agrícolas y caminos rápidos, vivimos una jornada donde el terreno no fue el principal rival, sino un sol que rozó los 30 grados y puso a prueba la resistencia en cada tramo. Una etapa diferente, auténtica y llena de contrastes que demuestra que el Segrià es mucho más que agricultura. Historia, paisaje y kilómetros de fruta bajo el sol de Ponent. 🎒👟☀️ Chapter 29 – Segrià 🍑☀️ This week, the 42x42 challenge takes us to Segrià, a region unlike any we've explored so far. Starting and finishing in Lleida, this stage was defined by heat, endless fields, and one of the biggest surprises of the challenge: experiencing the city at sunrise, completely empty and wrapped in a peaceful atmosphere that's hard to imagine later in the day. After visiting iconic landmarks such as the Seu Vella, the route heads into the true heart of the region: endless agricultural landscapes that turn the scenery into a giant open-air pantry. Surrounded by fruit orchards, small rural villages, and fast-running trails, we faced a day where the terrain wasn't the biggest challenge—the sun was. Temperatures approached 30°C, making every kilometer a test of endurance. A unique and authentic stage full of contrasts, proving that Segrià is much more than agriculture.
