Learn how to make the most delicious and creamy mango ice cream at home with only 3 simple ingredients 🥭🍨😍 This easy homemade mango ice cream recipe is prepared without heavy cream and without an ice cream machine. The mango ice cream base is made with mango, sweetened condensed milk, and thick yogurt. You can use Greek yogurt, skyr, quark, or strained yogurt. Frozen mango works best and gives the mixture a thick, creamy, soft-serve texture immediately after blending, but fresh mango can also be used. For an even richer mango flavour, we prepare a delicious caramelized mango topping with fresh mango and brown sugar. The topping is mixed throughout the ice cream, creating sweet and fruity mango swirls in every bite. This simple mango dessert is perfect for hot summer days, family gatherings, parties, or whenever you are craving a refreshing homemade frozen treat. Why you will love this mango ice cream: ✨ No heavy cream ✨ No ice cream machine needed ✨ Only 3 ingredients for the ice cream base ✨ Super creamy, fruity, and refreshing ✨ Works with frozen or fresh mango ✨ Easy to prepare at home Ingredients For the mango ice cream: 300 g frozen mango cubes 150 g sweetened condensed milk 200 g Greek yogurt, skyr, quark, or strained yogurt For the mango topping: 1 cup mango, cut into small cubes 2 tablespoons brown sugar Optional: Chopped pistachios, for garnish You can also replace the sweetened condensed milk with 3–4 tablespoons of honey. Cook the mango topping with the brown sugar over medium heat until the mango becomes soft and the sugar caramelizes. Mash it with a fork or potato masher, transfer it to a plate, and allow it to cool completely. Blend the mango, sweetened condensed milk, and thick yogurt until completely smooth and creamy. Pour the cooled mango topping over the mixture and gently mix until it is evenly distributed throughout the ice cream. Freeze for at least 5 hours. If the mango ice cream becomes too firm after being stored in the freezer for a long time, leave it at room temperature for about 5 minutes before serving. You can also dip the ice cream scoop in warm water to make scooping easier.
