A3 NEWS Treviso 17/07/2026 - BASSANO DEL GRAPPA - A 41-year-old resident of the Treviso area was reported for stealing two electric bicycles in the center of Bassano. He was caught on camera shortly before being checked by local police in the center of Bassano. Shortly thereafter, he stole an electric bicycle worth €1,600, parked in Piazza Castello. The bicycle belonged to a 54-year-old local man, who immediately reported the theft. A 41-year-old Moroccan resident of the Treviso area was caught on camera and reported for stealing not only the two-wheeler in question, but also a second electric bicycle worth €2,000, which a 60-year-old woman from Bassano had left parked in Piazza Garibaldi. In both cases, the vehicles were securely locked. By reviewing municipal video surveillance footage, the Carabinieri identified the 41-year-old.
