Recorded on April 8, 2025. April 8 was a special date at Kubo: we gathered to celebrate Vernau Mier and his saxophone, who would be leaving Mexico to return to Catalonia until further notice. To give him a proper send-off, a dozen of the city's best jazz musicians got together and spent the night going on and off stage playing pieces with different groups. And although it was a special day for Vernau, if anyone came out ahead that night... it was undoubtedly the neighbors.
