"Out of nowhere" de Charlie Parker | Jazz Jam @ Kubo Coyoacán
Kubo Coyoacán presents: “Out of Nowhere” by Charlie Parker, featuring Benjamín García on double bass, Néstor Pérez on guitar, Dani Arias on drums, Pablo Castro on piano, and Vernau Mier on saxophone. Recorded on April 8, 2025. April 8 was a special day at Kubo: we gathered to celebrate Vernau Mier and his saxophone, who were leaving Mexico to return to Catalonia until further notice. To give him a proper send-off, a dozen of the city's best jazz musicians got together and spent the night coming on and off stage playing pieces with different groups. And although it was a special day for Vernau, if anyone came out a winner that night... it was definitely the neighbors.
